The Coastal Motocross Club operates predominantly from Blackwood Park, on the North West Coast of Tasmania. The track is about 7 kilometres south of Penguin, in the picturesque Dial Range Recreational Reserve. The track is on a private lease near a designated trail riding area.

Being central to the North West Coast population and close to the Bass Strait ferry terminal at Devonport (Spirit 1 & 2) it has the benefit of quick and easy access for both riders and the viewing public via a dual lane highway to Penguin.

A severe disadvantage of this easy access has been constant and senseless vandalism and unauthorised riding on the track and in the grounds, but since the appointment of a full time care-taker to the complex and constant upgrading of security measures, this problem no longer exists.

With excellent facilities complementing the track the Club can cater for Practice days, Club days, State titles, Accredited Coaching Schools and National Championships.

REMINDER:
Any persons under 18yrs who come with people other than their parents or legal guardians can not ride the track at any practice or competition event unless a Temporary Guardianship form is signed by the parent or legal guardian stating that they give permission for their son/daughter to ride under the guardianship of the named person for that day.
