About the Track

The Blackwood Park motocross track is 1530 metres in length with man made tabletops, step ups, whoops, drop off’s, which enhance the natural terrain used for the circuit. Tyre barriers define the various parts of the track and the start gate can accommodate 40 riders. The track is inspected yearly or if any modifications are constructed and is nationally accredited.

The Coastal Motocross Club operates predominantly from Blackwood Park, behind Penguin on the North West Coast of Tasmania. The track is about 7 kilometres from Penguin, in the picturesque Dial Range Recreational Reserve. The track is on a private lease near a designated trail riding area.

Being central to the North West Coast population and close to the highway has the benefit of quick and easy access for both riders and the viewing public.
